Gluten-Free Cauliflower Crust Pizza



You can enjoy a tasty gluten-free pizza with a crispy and flavorful cauliflower crust. This recipe is great for people who are sensitive to gluten or who want a healthier pizza option.

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium head of cauliflower
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce gluten-free
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese for topping

Instructions:

Start by heating the oven up to 450F 230C

Put the cauliflower florets in a food processor and pulse them a few times to make them look like fine crumbs

Put the cauliflower crumbs in a bowl that can go in the microwave

Microwave on high for 4 to 5 minutes, or until the crumbs are soft

After the cauliflower has cooled, put it in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out as much water as you can

Put the Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl

Add the cauliflower crumbs and mix them together

Add the egg and mix until the mixture is like dough

Put parchment paper on a baking sheet and spread the cauliflower mixture out into a round shape that's about 1/4 inch thick

This will be your pizza crust

The crust should be golden brown and firm after 12 to 15 minutes in a hot oven

Take the crust out of the oven and cover it with the gluten-free tomato sauce

On top of the sauce, put 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese

Add the gluten-free pizza toppings you like best

Put the pizza back in the oven and bake for another 10 to 12 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly

Take it out of the oven, let it cool a bit, then cut it up and serve
