Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 175F 350C
A 9x9-inch baking pan should be greased
Put 1 cup of flour, 1/4 cup of powdered sugar, and softened butter in a mixing bowl
Spread the mix out in the bottom of the pan that has been prepared
Warm the oven up and bake the crust for 15 to 20 minutes, or until it turns a light golden color
Add eggs, granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons of flour, and baking powder to a different bowl
Use a whisk to mix the ingredients well
Add the lemon juice and zest and mix well until the texture is smooth
Spread the lemon mix on top of the baked crust
Put the pan back in the oven and bake for another 20 to 25 minutes, or until the center is set and the edges are lightly golden
Let the bars cool all the way through in the pan on a wire rack
Sprinkle powdered sugar over the top after it has cooled
Serve it cut up into squares
